The Åkulla Ski Resort is a cross-country skiing area that operates with artificial snow in winter as soon as it is cold enough outside. It offers up to 3.2 km of illuminated double tracks, a toboggan run, a snow playground and separate trails for beginners (trails are specially groomed or rolled tracks, mainly for cross-country skiing). Equipment can be hired on site.

In addition to cross-country skiing, winter hiking and other winter activities are also possible.

Picturesque town on the west coast with a charming town centre.

There are several cafés, small boutiques and a weekly market. The Varberg Fortress, a historic landmark, is also worth a visit.
The beautiful Apelviken beach is famous among water sports enthusiasts. People who love the sea and exercise will find what they are looking for here: SUP and wind/kite surfing. There is also a water sports school.

Varberg is also home to the ‘Kallbadhus’ (cold bath house): a bathing and sauna house right on the beach promenade in Varberg.

It’s the perfect place to browse, discover new things or simply take a stroll and enjoy a coffee.

Ullared is primarily known for its famous shopping centre. But this small town has more to offer: restaurants where you can enjoy Swedish food – perfect for a little evening excursion.

Lake Musasjö, located right next to the shopping centre, is also ideal for a walk or a short break by the water.

You can go on beautiful hikes at the Sumpafallen in Ullared, a nature reserve.

For example, the swimming lake in Älvsered is also very beautiful.
