So beautiful and peaceful place. The house has everything you need to spend some relaxing and cozy days in the country side of Sweden. Beautiful forests just behind the house for walks or mushroom picking, lakes for swimming or stand-up paddling around the corner and for those who need it, there is even a big shopping center called “Gekås” where you can literally get anything nearby.
Katharina and Daniel are so lovely people and their dogs are very sweet too.
The food they make is extremely delicious and is highly recommended to get if you get the pleasure to spend some time at their cabin!! (even recommended by a non-vegan, if that means anything)”

“We had a wonderful week together in the cosy tiny house of Katharina and Daniel. We enjoyed the beautiful nature there, with its many lakes and quiet forest paths, making it perfect for nature lovers, photographers and mushroom pickers. I did a workation there, and the fibre optic internet and the generously sized table made it easy to work. In general, the cottage is very well equipped, from great pans and pots to a microwave and various spices and oils to use. And everything was spotless and just like in the photos. In addition, Katharina and Daniel were always quick to respond and flexible. They really cared about our well-being. Without being intrusive, they made suggestions for things to do and provided their fire pit, for example. And if you like dogs, you’ll have fun with their two dogs. When we arrived, Katharina asked us if that was OK with us first. So all in all: highly recommended! 😊 “

“This was the best accommodation I’ve ever had for a workation. Katharina was extremely welcoming and I immediately felt at home, even better than that, actually. After a few days, I was already best buddies with her dogs, and Buddy (that’s one of them) chilled with me for hours 😅. Normally, Katharina only lets her dogs walk in her own garden, but she asked me specifically if that was okay with me, which I thought was very thoughtful. The cottage itself is well equipped: from pans and spices to hot water and a normal toilet (pure luxury in rural Sweden). As I was her second guest ever, there was no hairdryer at first. I gave her some feedback about this and less than 24 hours later there was a new hairdryer on the veranda, faster than Amazon Prime. I’ll definitely be back, maybe I’ll even move in straight away 😅.”
